Feb 24, 2012 A friend of mine giveme as an present one HTC G1, but is locked and i live in Brazil. I cant find anyone here do unlock the phone and I don't have an cfedit card (so I can't buy the code online). There is an imei unlock code generator or something like that to this mobile? Any other way to unlock it?

How to enter an unlock code in a HTC G1:
1. Start the device with an different simcard inserted (simcard from a different network than the one that works in your HTC G1).
2. Enter network unlock code message will appear.
3. Type the unlock code provided by sim-unlock.net.
4. Phone is network unlocked.
IMPORTANT
If the code doesn't work a factory reset or a hard reset might be required.
Please copy all important data from your HTC G1 before you try a factory reset, because they will get deleted in the process.
